New Registration for PM Laptop Scheme

The Prime Minister of Pakistan has officially registered the PM laptop scheme for the 1/4 section. This initiative aims to distribute free laptops to talented students in universities and colleges across Pakistan. The Higher Education Commission (HEC) will soon open the registration portal, allowing students to sign up for the program.

Prime Minister’s Laptop Program Registration Form

Registration for the 1/4 section of the Prime Minister Laptop Scheme 2024 will begin soon. Interested students will need to register through the HEC portal (hec.gov.pk). Note that offline applications will not be accepted. Laptops will only be distributed to students who complete the online registration.

Eligibility Criteria For Students In Laptops

To qualify for the laptop scheme, students must meet certain eligibility criterias:

  • Must be enrolled in public sector universities or degree-granting institutions, including officially recognized sub-campuses.
  • Students from private sector higher education institutions are not eligible.
  • Students with government degrees and postgraduate college-affiliated colleges are also ineligible.
  • Students who previously received laptops from the Prime Minister Youth Laptop Scheme cannot apply again.
  • Foreign nationals, except those from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and students with dual citizenship are not eligible.
  • Only online registrations will be accepted. Other methods will not considered.
  • Students must provide strong proof of their academic abilities.

Shahbaz Sharif Laptop Scheme New Update

Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has reiterated that the government will distribute laptops to talented students nationwide through the Shahbaz Sharif laptop. The goal is to enhance academic abilities and provide online employment opportunities to students in higher education institutions, including those in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Students will soon be able to register for this program and benefit from the laptops.
