Initial proposals from the housing department suggest that each apartment will cost approximately 1.5 million rupees (15 lakh). To make these homes more accessible, the Punjab government plans to offer a 60% subsidy. This means eligible families must pay a 40% down payment and then manage the remaining amount through installments.
